Gaza Sound Man (غزة.. صوت الحياة والموت) + Dancing Palestine

5:45PM, Sun 26th Oct

Gaza soundman offers an intimate journey into Gaza through the language of sound.
Sound in Gaza is more than vibration—it carries memory, emotion, and story. Before and after 7 October 2023, sound engineer Mohamed has been listening closely, capturing how the everyday sounds of life—once full of vitality—have been transformed by war and loss.

Across four deeply personal stories, each character shares their experience of Gaza through sound, revealing how echoes of hope, grief, and resilience shape life in times of devastation.

Dancing Palestine

To dance is to remember, to dance is to remind. As the Palestinian identity continues to be threatened with erasure, Palestinians turn to their folk dance, the dabke, as an homage to their history and culture, and to assert their existence.
